Ready to bridge your data? Follow this comprehensive user guide to get Sinkhole up and running on your Android device.
Download and install the Sinkhole APK from our releases page. You may need to enable "Unknown Sources" in your device settings to complete the installation.
Open the app and grant the initial folder permission. Choose the specific folder on your device that you wish to synchronize (e.g., your Obsidian vault).
Authenticate with your Google account. A dedicated folder called SinkholeFolder
will be automatically created in your Google Drive.
Click the SYNC NOW button. Sinkhole will analyze your folder, generate a local manifest, and upload your files to the cloud.
Open your Google Drive on any device to verify that your files have been successfully uploaded and are ready for cross-platform access.
Once your data is on Google Drive, use the **Google Drive Desktop** application to mount your drive as a local disk. You can then point your desktop applications (like Obsidian) to the `SinkholeFolder` for a complete sync cycle!
